Pay Rate: $65-70/hr

⏰ Shift: 6:45 AM - 3:00 PM

Schedule: 5x8 (Five 8-hour shifts per week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and compassionate Wound and Ostomy Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in Brooklyn. This role involves providing specialized wound and ostomy care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and educating patients and their families on treatment and recovery plans. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to ethical and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaboration:

✅ Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.

✅ Communicate effectively with patients and families to assess and address individual needs.

✅ Work collaboratively across disciplines to enhance patient care.

✅ Provide detailed patient education during inpatient stays and at discharge.

Ethics & Patient Advocacy:

✅ Make patient-centered decisions based on ethical standards.

✅ Respect and incorporate patients’ cultural, spiritual, and personal beliefs into their care plans.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Licensing:

✔ Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s Degree (MSN) preferred.

✔ Active New York State RN License in good standing.

✔ Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

✔ Wound and Ostomy Certification preferred.

Experience:

✔ Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred (wound and ostomy care experience a plus).

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

✔ Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
